As you guys probably already noticed this morning (as my post is super late) the Archive store was re-released this morning. You veteran dollies probably remember that we had an Archive store before for many years but it was eventually phased out by Callie's Pics. There is much debate I am sure over weather Callie's Pics, or Archive is better.
So what does this mean? Does it mean we are in the last Year of Callie's Pics? if so will that give Callie's Pics brand items some value? If Callie's Pics isn't being phased out does that mean a change in concept?
What's different about the new Archive? Well it looks like Archive will now be released in collections, probably based on older stores and tribute collections from the ol' ancient days. We also get to see the original logo underneath the Archive logo which I am assuming is going to either cause collectors to rejoice or complain (Kind of like RE-LE). We still aren't sure how often collections will be released, but if it is like the older Archive store they will be released on a cycle with the rest of the original Stardoll stores. If it is anything like Callies Pics then it will be an every other week sort of thing.

This collection is made up of older DKNY pieces that we don't get to see to often. At first you might be deterred by the outdated styles and the low quality texturization of the items (those were bomb pieces in the day yo) but I encourage you to try on the pieces first. They are well fitted pieces even today and you'd be surprised how well they go with outfits you already love.
Which pieces do you plan to own? What are your thoughts on the revival of Archive?
