GUCCI TRIBUTE RELEASED!!!

Hi dolls! Today we start the Winter 2019-2020 Tribute season. If you read my blog regularly, or know me well on Stardoll, then you know that I LIVE for Gucci. Well on Stardoll at least. In real life I am a poor pauper who's wardrobe is mostly made of black, white and nuetral simple pieces. Anyway, It;s been a while since we've seen some Gucci pieces (The Japan Windows On The World collection If I remember correctly). But today we finally get a Tribute collection. The first in almost TWO YEARS dolls!!!
Now Hang on tight, don't get too too excited yet. There are a few things different about this collection as I am sure most of you have noticed. First thing I noticed about this collection is that it does not have any recent Gucci Pieces I've been hoping to see:
The second thing I noticed was the collection seemed pretty boring for a Gucci collection... The second thing I noticed was that most of the pieces seemed familiar to me. Then my collective thoughts formed the realization that we are seeing a sort of Gucci Re-release with retouched items.
But wait isn't that what the re-release of Archive was for? Kind of I suppose, only archive features original untouched pieces (articles that haven't been updated graphically). So It seems we are in a season of Re-releasing on Stardoll.
To say I am not disappointed wouldn't be true, but I am happy to see these updated items and get the chance to buy them with the original logo. I do think some of the pieces could have been texturized (is that a word?) better like the men's outfit seems very 2012... But other then that these are probably made up of highly requested items so I'm done complaining. I will probably be buying most of these items. What about you dolls? What do you think?
